Belgium's top 500 companies paid an average 5.5% tax rate

That's the headline from Belgium's Le Vif/L'Express newspaper:
"According to data compiled by Trends Top, these 500 companies had turnover exceeding 240bn Euros. They made profits of 55.7bn Euros before tax, and 52.7bn after tax."
