The most interesting man in Britain?

Might look like this. (Well, one of the most interesting, at any rate - we know quite a few remarkable men and women.) A good friend of TJN, he says:
"Now, for the first time for many years, the City of London is trying to build relationships with the people around it, because while it extolled the benefits of the globalised economy, it turned out that when it went wrong it was the people of our country who had to bail them out.

On the one hand the City is being very defensive, saying that it will pay all the money back and that it is still the best system possible, and on the other hand it is looking for partners. The problem with the City is that it has never ever built any social partnerships with equals."
More on this before too long.
